I read: Becoming

Becoming by Michelle Obama

I don't have a lot of say about this book, except that I continue to be impressed by how transparent Michelle Obama continues to be.  She shares, seemingly sincerely, from portions of her entire life and candidly writes about how she wasn't initially in favour of her husband's political career.  She shares struggles and dreams, fears and hopes and everything in between.

After reading the book, she seems, even more than she already did, as if she's just an average American wife, and mother fighting to make the best choices and life for her family.  She doesn't pull punches on her political views, and she doesn't temper those views based on current climate.

From reading the book, I am only more impressed by how "44" became President, and managed to preside over the US for 8 years with not a blip of scandal or intrigue.

5 Stars because the book is timely, and illuminating on what it takes to be a truly great Presidential family.
