Rowan's final expedition, meant to prove that she's worthy of being called the Royal Monster Hunter. With the resources provided by her friends and companions and the knowledge she's gained from past trials, Rowan will surely escape the final trial unscathed and victorious.
Certainly a fitting end to the Royal Guide to Monster Slaying series. Using all of the skills gained through the first three books, and showcasing the characters and friends Rowan has picked up along the way this book is a suitable culmination of the story arc. While there would be opportunities to create a secondary series, there's truly no need.
